La GA-P55-UD6 está basada en la innovadora arquitectura de 2 chips de Intel con soporte para los procesadores Intel Core i7 e Intel Core i5 socket LGA1156. Con los controladores de video y memorias integrados en el procesador, la GA-P55-UD6 es capaz de administrar hasta 6 DIMMs de memoria dual channel DDR3 para un rendimiento en memorias sobresaliente. La GA-P55-UD6 fue fabricada con un innovador diseño de 24 fases de poder para el VRM del CPU capaz de incrementar la calidad de la energía entregada al CPU, dándoles a los usuarios extremos una habilidad para el overclock si comparación así como las menores temperaturas para alcanzar los máximos niveles en rendimiento.
